Lana and the ants
Once there was a girl called Lana. She had a love for all living things except for a few.. these being spiders, ants and other general bugs. Even though she disliked these critters she didnt like to see them killed.
Spiders, except for an unlucky few, stayed away from her, other bugs had the sense to keep there distance.. then there was the ants.
The attack of the ants started many years ago when Lana, an innocent teenager, was living in a cheap rental with an ant problem.. One day while in the shower suddenly Lana was horrified to see ants pouring out of the gap beside the hot water tap.. the hot water system being on was turning their nest into a sauna! This lead to days of cold showers for fear of burning the ants until one fateful day she could shower cold no more. She got into the shower, turned on the hot tap and waited for the ants to run out. And run out they did. Reminiscent of the sinking of the titanic, ants were throwing themselves off the walls, plunging to their death, rithing in agony. Clearly this would have a scaring effect on Lana.
Year after traumatised year Lana managed to live relatively ant free until in a small shoebox in Carnegie the ants launched their revenge. They invaded all of the small flat from wardrobe to tv, laptop to, yes, shower. Lana wishes to apolagise to all the ants for the tragic circumstances surrounding the Beaumaris masacre and begs them to get out of her drawers, pants, off her stereo and to please please stay away from the bathroom. All she wants is to live in harmony with the ants.. her in her house and them...somewhere else.
